Since she stated how she felt about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars, actress Vivica A.Fox has revealed that she has not spoken to Will or Jada since.

While on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the actress was asked if she and the Smiths would ever salvage their friendship. “Can I say, there’s no beef,” she said. “I just said, ‘Due to the situation that happened, just take accountability so that everyone can then move forward.’”

She continued, “I love Jada, I love Will, I love their whole family. I don’t have beef with them.” Cohen then asked Vivica, “Do they have beef with you?” She replied, “Not that I know of.”

In June 2022, Fox appeared on The Wendy Williams Show to express how she felt about the slap that took place three months prior. “I just wish we could have just a little more accountability, and for it to not seem so self-righteous on Jada’s part and that’s my feelings.”

Vivica added, “Will Smith was defending her honor. That’s the reason he walked on stage and slapped him because he felt like his wife had been offended. So for me to see no accountability as a partner. Also, let’s not forget, Chris Rock was assaulted. We cannot forget that for basically telling a joke that I really felt wasn’t that bad.”

Months after the slap, Will Smith returned to social media and gave Chris Rock an apology.
