During a recent interview on CBS Morning with Gayle King, Darrell Johnson revealed that he would not leave his daughter along with the singer. Following his comment, Johnson stepped down from his position as R. Kelly’s crisis manager.
Now it looks like he is retracting back on his statement.
Johnson was stopped by the folks over at TMZ and he is adamant that he was not fired. He stepped away because he had a family emergency and claims that this family member if on their deathbed. In fact, he says he may return to claim his position again.
Johnson also states that he would “1000{1dfa1e56791e611ba924bda180f579857679f3f460137999817901b64f1d0aea} leave my daughter with Mr. Kelly” and believed the singer once again will be acquitted.
