Wendy Williams Hit With A Tax Lien From The Federal Government

Wendy Williams is facing more financial issues.

According to reports, the former talk show host has been hit with a tax lien from the federal government on her New York City condo. It’s been said that she owes $568,451.67 in unpaid taxes in 2019 and 2021. However, she bought her property for $4.5 million in 2021.

Reports also state that “the lien was generated in January of this year, and was recorded with the New York City Department of Finance in early February.” There is a chance that the lien has been resolved already although there is no evidence of it.

This news comes after we reported that Williams’ ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, is demanding back pay from her retirement fund and her checks. Hunter claimed that he hasn’t received any form payments since January 2022.

“I have not received my severance payments since January of 2022, which Plaintiff is required to make pursuant to the Matrimonial Settlement Agreement…This is an emergent matter because I rely on the severance pay for my living expenses and having been without this income for twenty-three months has affected me greatly,” his motion claims.

This isn’t the first time that Williams had any issues with her finances. She was placed under guardianship by her bank, Wells Fargo before being released from it in 2022.

We are hoping for the best for Wendy Williams.
