Nominations are in for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2020. On Tuesday (October 15) they made the announcements and of the 16 artists listed, nine are first-time nominees.
The late Whitney Houston and Notorious B.I.G are on the ballot. Also, the legendary Rufus featuring Chaka Khan have been nominated as well.

Depeche Mode, the Doobie Brothers, Pat Benatar, Judas Priest, Dave Matthews Band, MC5, Kraftwerk, Motorhead, Todd Rundgren, Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden, T. Rex and Thin Lizzy are also on the list.
According to the site, the winners will be announced in January and inducted on May 20 at the 35th annual Rock Hall of Fame ceremony.
