Fans have been missing Whoopi Goldberg on The View, as she has been absent. Joy Behar let fans know that Goldberg was missing from her seat on the talk show due Pneumonia.
Luckily, Goldberg is alive and well. In a video posted on social media, she detailed her experience with the scary illness. “I had pneumonia, and I was septic. Pneumonia in both lungs, which meant there’s fluid, there was all kinds of stuff going on. Yes, I came very very close to leaving the earth.”
The good news is that she didn’t. She has been absent from the talk show since Feb. 6th. Fans are patiently waiting her return.
She also expressed she was grateful for all the love and support she has been receiving. We are keeping Whoopi in our prayers.
