Whoopi Goldberg Slams Donald Trump’s AI Jesus Defense: ‘Nobody Believes You’

Whoopi Goldberg says that Donald Trump needs more people.

Trump recently claimed that he believed the AI image of Jesus that he shared on social media portrayed him as a doctor.  Trump said the image, which he later deleted, “had to do with the Red Cross.”

On The View, Goldberg shared his take on Trump’s latest social media gaff.

“Nobody believes you were a doctor. Nobody,” Goldberg stated, “Your people don’t believe it. Nobody believes it. They all saw what you were trying to do. You were trying to make some sort of weird statement.”

Goldberg also had some words for J.D. Vance, the vice-president said on Fox News that Pope Leo should “stick to matters of… what’s going on in the Catholic Church and let the president of the United States stick to dictating American public policy.”

“I would caution the vice president that one of the things that the Pope is supposed to do is to make us aware that war is wrong,” said Goldberg. “And we should find other ways to do things before we go to war.”

“And Jesus said that as well. Jesus came in peace,” cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin added. “Blessed are the peacemakers.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin said, “JD Vance is the highest-ranking Catholic” in the Trump administration.

“He may need to go back to Sunday school,” Hostin noted.

Hostin also described Trump’s Jesus picture as “blasphemous.”

“I think our founding fathers did a lot of things right. And the 25th amendment is there for a reason,” Hostin said. “No one who holds that office, which is arguably the most powerful office in the world, does things like that.”

Daily Show host Jon Stewart also chimed in to share his thoughts on the photo.

“I know I don’t have the vigor and spunk of my MTV days. But I didn’t know we were here already,” Stewart said. “I didn’t realize my look had reached leper territory. From the picture, it looks like it was touch-and-go with me for a while.”
