Whoopi Goldberg is the wrong one to mess with when it comes to controversial conversations, especially when the involved Donald Trump.
The View invited former Judge Jeanine Pirro, who now works as a TV personality and Republican politician in New York, to discuss her new book, Liars, Leakers, and Liberals: The Case Against the Anti-Trump Conspiracy. During the conversation, all five View hosts urged Pirro to talk about her stance on Donald Trump and his policies.
But things got heated after Pirro called Whoopi hysterical about her views, and went as far as saying she has Trump Derangement. But if you know Goldberg, she wasn’t going to be accused of something without clapping back.
“I don’t have Trump Derangement. Let me tell you what I have. I’m tired of people starting a conversation with ‘Mexicans are liars and rapists.’ I’m tired of people starting a conversation about this country. I’m 62 years old. There have been a lot of people in office that I didn’t agree with, but I have never, ever seen anything like this. I’ve never seen anybody whip up such hate; I’ve never seen anybody be so dismissive …” Whoopi told Pirro, who listened with a smug smile on her face.
Goldberg continued saying, “What I suffer from is the inability to figure out how to fix this. That’s my issue.”
From there, the two engaged into heated argument, which led Whoopi to say, “Say goodbye. Bye.”
Unfortunately things didn’t end there. The two continued their tumultuous encounter continued.
Pirro went on to “spin” what happened between the two backstage, so Whoopi opted to set the record straight on The View today.
“So you saw me do something I very rarely do. I very rarely loose my cool — I’m not proud of it; I don’t like it. But I also don’t like being accused of being hysterical because that’s one of the things I try not to do on this show.”
Watch her address their arguement below.
