A woman made headlines last week for reportedly dropping her friend’s 2-year-old son off on a stranger’s porch. Not only did she drop the young boy off with a stranger, a video surface of the woman dragging the boy by his arm, out of the car.
We later found out that, Keairra Woods was reportedly dropping her friends son off to his father’s house, but had the wrong address. Although Woods did not wait until someone opened the door, she left the child on the doorstep and drove off.
Woods spoke to ABC 13, to state that she is an “innocent bystander.” In the interview, she mentions that she offered to drop the child off, as the child’s father current girlfriend has a restraining order against the child’s mother. She also stated she ended up on a stranger’s doorstep because, she was given the wrong directions by the child’s mother.
Woods says, “I followed the GPS. Mind you, I’m still on the phone with her, so by the time I get to the house, I say, ‘Well I just pulled up to the house.’ She said, ‘Okay, get out the car, get his bag and go to the door.”
She continued, “Okay, so I ring the doorbell, the lady walks like halfway to the door. That’s when I took off running. And the only reason I took off running was because it was chilly outside and I didn’t have no sweater on, as you can see in the video.”
