WTF! Georgia Lawmaker Told To Go Back To Where She Came From While Shopping In Grocery Store

Erica Thomas, a black lawmaker from Georgia, said that a white man cursed at her and told her to go back to where she came from while standing in front of her daughter. This altercation started because the man thought that she had too many items in the express checkout line at the grocery store. 

The 31-year-old, who is also nine months pregnant, delivered a tearful video on her Instagram Live addressing the situation that took place. Thomas stated that the man verbally assaulted her because he thought that she had too many items for the express line. Thomas also stated she told the man that she was pregnant and that she couldn’t stand for too long and the man said he didn’t care.  Thomas also addressed the issue on Twitter. 

“He said, ‘I don’t care. You’re a lazy son of a b***h. You need to get the f*** out of here. Go back where you came from.” In the video, Thomas said “It hurt me so bad because everything in me just wanted to tell him who I am. But I couldn’t get anything out.”
