Rapper Young Thug made headlines on Thursday (Sept 4) when audio leaked of his prison call where he made unflattering remarks about GloRilla’s appearance.
In the leaked audio, Thug was heard mocking GloRilla’s looks: “Long ass bullst ass wig, skinny st, goddamn big ass head, big mouth… I would not pursue her, at all, ever.” These comments quickly spread online and sparked debate across the hip-hop community, prompting a response from GloRilla herself: “Mind you dis da same n*a blowing my phone up to ask what color my eyes is lmaooo.”
The Atlanta rapper even mocked the Glo’s looks after comparing her to Rihanna.
After the leaked jail call went viral, Young Thug issued a public apology to GloRilla.
Expressing regret, he took to X, writing directly to her on X: “@GloTheofficial first of all I’m sorry to u for my words and I honestly don’t think ur ugly at all. I was speaking from jail just having a hard time with life. I don’t like bashing girls and hardly ever did. I’m sorry to u twin.”
The call was among a flood of alleged leaked jail phone calls from Thug during his time behind bars throughout the YSL RICO case from May 2022 to October 2024.
