Yvonne Orji is waiting for the right man to marry to lose her virginity.
The 39-year-old actress revealed in a recent interview with Chelsea Handler that she is still a virgin. She went on to ask her fans and listeners to pray for the man she marries because she has a lot of pent up energy.
“Let me tell you right now…pray for him, whoever he is; y’all need to pray for him because there’s a lot of pent-up energy up in here,” the actress said.
Handler then joked that once the “Insecure” star finally loses her virginity she will need multiple men instead of just one. Orji jokingly responded, “Yvonne went from being a virgin to polyamory.”
Yvonne Orji hasn’t been in a relationship since breaking up with her ex Emmanuel Acho in 2019. She revealed on her podcast that they have gone separate ways.
This isn’t the first time that Orji has talked about being a virgin. In another interview she said that she made a pact with God before she reached stardom. “Before any of the fame happened, I sat down with myself and with God and thought, When I make it, how do you want me to represent you while I’m here…It was like, Okay, I know why I’m here. It’s to make you proud.”
