On November 21st, WBLS with support from the Law Offices of Michael Lamonsoff gave away more than 200 Thanksgiving Turkeys to Queens residents at Greater Bethel Ministries. This was part of The Steve Harvey Shows’ Annual Turkey Giveaway, which has been a long-standing tradition and was facilitated by WBLS staff alongside pastors and the congregation of Greater Bethel Ministries.
Queen residents were given Thanksgiving turkeys, stuffing, green beans, and a select few were given grocery store gift cards! WBLS personality Bob Lee was in attendance and handing out turkeys, in an interview with Pastor John Boyd II he said “you see these people, they’re so grateful and thankful… you’ve been here year after year and we love it!”
Thanks to the generosity of Michael Lamonsoff, WBLS were able to continue the tradition of providing the residents of Queens with their Thanksgiving Dinner. The end of the year is always the season for giving, and just because Thanksgiving is over doesn’t mean that it’s time to stop being thankful.
