Liz Black is the CEO of the Aspired Living Network TV, inc. Since March 1, 2021 the network has been providing 24/7 of family inspirational programming. www.aspiredlivingnetworktv.com. The network features preaching/teaching, comedy, cooking, talk shows and more!!

Liz brings sunshine, and happiness to massive listeners throughout the NY/NJ/CT Tri-State area for the past 13 years on Sunday Mornings on 107.5 WBLS NY’s only R&B station at 7am. Liz is a midday host syndicated nationally 11am-3pm est. at inspirationswithlizblack.com. She can also be heard Mon-Fri 7pm-midnight on NYC Christian Talk radio 570am WMCA.

Liz is a Stellar Award winner for Radio Personality of the Year. She was the voice for BET’s gospel show “Joyful Noise,” which was hosted by Tye Tribbett.

Born in New York, Liz’s journey into the entertainment arena is rooted in her gift of gab. Since she was a toddler, Liz was very vocal and by the age of 5 she’d already developed a passion for emceeing talent shows and other events in her backyard.

Liz started her career as a model appearing in TV commercials and billboard ads. She eventually became a member of the Screen Actors Guild and began to audition for various television roles. She appeared in VaShawn Mitchell’s “Nobody Greater” music video, has hosted Gospel Amateur Night at the world-famous Apollo Theater, to name a few.

In 1990 Liz began the second phase of her life when she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and committed herself to the ministry of kingdom building. Shortly after her spiritual rebirth, Liz began honing her “talking” skills while touring with the Al Dixon Life Games – a group of athletes determined to make a difference in the lives of young people. In 2001, Liz founded New Mercies Café, a Gospel Experience & Showcase (www.LizBlacklive.com). From New Mercies Café, the very popular Liz Black & Friends Gospel Variety Show & Open Mic was spun-off.

Going into its 7th year, Liz is proud of her yearly coat drive, which has been sponsored by companies such as Kmart and Sears. She has given out thousands of coats over the years to the homeless, battered women, and rehab facilities.

Liz received the Woman of Excellence Award from Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network Woman’s Auxiliary.

In June 2022, Liz received an honorary doctorate in Christan leadership from the School of the Great Commission.

Liz is the president of the NY/NJ GIN division and was recently named the Chair of the National Association of Gospel Radio (NAGR) ‘s Media Relations and Industry Affairs committee.

Liz’s favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 “I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me.” Liz uses this scripture as her mantra as she goes about her daily ministry of talking to the masses.
