The Rewind with L’Oréal Luchi, filling in for Jus Nik, keeping you informed on everything that happened in the culture this week:

Tia Mowry:

When Motivational speaker Lee Hammick shared a comedic video with a husband reluctant to pay bills, it raised questions after Tia Mowry left a cryptic comment. In the caption, he wrote, “Some toxic people will refuse to contribute around the home in any way #toxicpartner.” Tia responded in the comments with a side-eye emoji. They were together for 20 years, married for 14, and in the begging of the relationship, Cory didn’t have much money, as he said in a previous interview.

Britney Griner:

The WNBA player has begun the process of being transferred to a Russian penal colony. Back in February, the all star center for the Phoenix Mercury  was detained and later convicted for drug smuggling in the country. In a statement, Griner’s representatives have admitted to not knowing where she currently is due to the transfer. Russian penal colonies are typically known a lack of hygiene and medical care as well as manual labor.

Shaunie O’Neal:

VH1 recently released the sneak peak for Shaunia & Keion‘s Destination “I Do.” The three part series will follow the two as they prepare to go down the aisle and all that comes along with planning a destination wedding. The special will feature a few familiar faces from the Basketball Wives as some were in O’Neal bridal party. The series airs November 28th.

Dave Chappelle:

The comedian is set to host the post-election episode of Saturday Night Live this week but not too many people are happy about it. Members and allies of the LGBTQ community are condemning the show for booking him after comments he made on his 2021 Netflix special that were considered transphobic. According to Page Six, even some writers of the sketch show have opted to sit out this week as a means of boycotting.

Jazmine Sullivan:

Before game 5 of The World Series the Philadelphia native wowed fans with her rendition of The National Anthem. The crowd went wild hearing her voice echo through the stadium. Some would even say she knocked the performance out of the park. Watch the performance.
