Kenya Moore x Marc Daly:

Kenya Moor’s ex, Marc Daly, wants her held in contempt because he’s furious that their 4-year-old daughter Brooklyn, was present during a fight on Real Housewives of ATL with her mom. Marc says Kenya violated a court order to notify him of opportunities. Kenya and Marc are set to face off in a trial later this month.

2023 Emmy Nominations:

Quinta Brunson was nominated for her lead comedic role in Abbott Elementary. Tyler James Williams was nominated for supporting actor in Abbott Elementary. President Barack Obama was nominated for Working: What We Do All Day, alongside Morgan Freeman for Our Universe. See the full list.

Tina Knowles x Richard Lawson:

There’s chatter that Tina Knowles and her husband of eight years, Richard Lawson, quietly split up. It’s not confirmed, however, there’s that the two have reportedly been living separately. There’s a few reasons people think they broke up, hopefully everything works out.

Aretha Franklin:

A handwritten will got some R-E-S-P-E-C-T from a jury. It took them less than an hour to reach a verdict in the nasty battle over Aretha Franklin’s will. The jury decided that a handwritten document by Aretha, found in her couch after her 2018 death is valid. The legal dispute turned her sons against each other. It’s a victory for Kecalf Franklin and Edward Franklin, who spoke out on the win. May the queen of soul continue to rest in peace. 

Jamie Foxx:

Jamie Foxx makes his firs public appearance since his April hospitalization. He was spotted out and about, taking boat rides and playing Top Golf. He’s also working behind the scenes as a producer on an upcoming documentary about Luther Vandross, alongside Colin Firth. Luther passed away in 2005, he will always be missed. 

Anthony Mackie: 

Anthony Mackie is starring in Peacock’s new high-octane action comedy series called Twisted Metal. It’s about “a motor-mouthed outsider who is offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. It’s based off the 1995 PlayStation game and premieres later this month on Peacock. Check out the trailer.
