Diddy:
Diddy claims he has to pay a hefty fine for his hit single, “I’ll Be Missing You,” dedicated to the late Notorious BIG. A report was released that The Bad Boy CEO pays Sting, $2,000 a day for sampling the song in 1997. Diddy corrected the rumor and says he pays $5,000 per day.
Donald Trump:
The NY Judge in Trump’s arraignment reportedly received dozens of death threats. Earlier this week, Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts related to his hush money payment, to the adult film star, Stormy Daniels in 2016. Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg and other top officials are also receiving threats, in the form of calls, emails, and letters. The FBI and NYPD say they’re investigating.
Marques Houston:
During an upcoming episode of TV One’s Uncensored, Marques Houston opened up on his marriage to Miya Dickey. He met her when she was 17, and he was 37. In 2020, they tied the knot and he received backlash for the huge age gap. In the promotional clip for the show, Marques claims they didn’t pursue each other until she was 18. Mo’Nique:
Mo’Nique seemingly comes out as bisexual during her Netflix comedy show. She kept it transparent with fans and admitted she told her husband she has the desire to be intimate with women, he said he does too and would want her to find a woman for them. Issa Rae:
Issa Rae will play President Barbie in the forthcoming Barbie movie. A report says there will be a variety of races in the film, set to be released sometime in July.
