Ne-Yo doesn’t want to support his estranged wife Crystal Smith financially once their divorce is finalized. She’s fighting in court to get alimony, NeYo advised her to get a job and objected her request for temporary and permanent spousal support. He’s willing to pay child support, but wants joint legal and physical custody of their three children, while she’s fighting to get primary custody. 

Wendy Williams:

Wendy Williams is focusing on her health right now before making a major comeback with her career. The Queen of media checked into a wellness facility to help manage her overall health issues, according to her rep. It’s not clear which health issues she’s dealing with. Wishing her the best in her recovery! 

R. Kelly GUILTY:

R Kelly’s trial ends in Chicago this week with convictions for three counts of child pornography and three counts of child enticement.

Cicely Tyson:

Congratulations to the late great Cicely Tyson, the iconic Tony Award-winning actress, was honored with a beautiful street renaming ceremony on Sep. 17 in NYC. Fans can see it on East 101st Street between 3rd and Lexington Avenues, the same cross street where the legendary actress grew up.

Black Girl Magic at the Emmys:

Black women dominated The Emmy’s this year. Congratulations to Hollywood legend, Sheryl Lee Ralph, she took home her first award. 32 YO Quinta Brunson won for Outstanding Writing For A Comedy Series for Abbott Elementary. 3x Grammy winner Lizzo took home her first award for outstanding competition program. Zendaya took home her second Emmy for best actress in a drama series, making her the only black women to take home two awards in that category.
