Braugher’s career spanned across memorable performances in movies like “Glory” and “Primal Fear,” earning two Primetime Emmys for his outstanding work in television. Despite being relatively new to comedy, his role in “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” garnered him four Emmy nominations for best-supporting actor in a comedy series.

Tiffany Haddish’s DUI Charges

Tiffany Haddish is facing charges after a DUI arrest in Los Angeles, with the District Attorney’s office confirming two misdemeanors: driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a .08% BAC. This isn’t her first encounter with such legal issues; she was previously arrested in January 2022 for DUI in Atlanta. Haddish, released on bond after her recent arrest, expressed her intent to seek help and assured that such incidents would not recur.

2023 Emmy Awards Delay and Nominations

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, delayed due to Hollywood union strikes in 2023, are scheduled for January 15, 2024. Anthony Anderson will host the event, which faced a postponement amidst the writers’ and actors’ union strikes causing a six-month Hollywood shutdown. HBO’s “Succession” leads with 27 nominations, including best drama and multiple lead actor nods. “The Last of Us” gained 24 nominations, marking significant recognition for a video game adaptation. Also, “The White Lotus” received 23 nominations as it transitioned from a limited series to a drama series this year. The 2023 Emmys will air on Fox at 8 p.m. ET.

BreakBeatCode Marathon 

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop, Google invites you to join us for the BreakBeatCode hackathon on December 16th, 2023 from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM Eastern Time with special guest star Supernatural. The Breakbeatcode Hackathon is a free, online, half-day hybrid event. During the Hackathon, tech coach volunteers from Google will teach students to code through beat making and music creation using EarSketch, a free educational programming environment that was developed first at Georgia Institute of Technology. After the hands-on workshops, we will have a closing party where special guest star Supernatural will perform live on stage, and DJ Siege will remix the music the students have created in a live set.
