The Queen of Radio, Wendy Williams returned home this past weekend at WBLS’ Circle of Sisters.
This was Williams’ first public appearance since leaving rehab. She was a guest on “The JusNik Show,” which was live streaming from Resorts World Casino in Queens, New York during Circle of Sisters. During the broadcast, Williams opened up about being diagnosed with lymphedema on her feet, a “chronic lymphatic disease that results in disfiguring swelling in one or more parts of the body,” according to lymphaticnetwork.org.
Wendy also discussed why she decided to start a podcast since she no longer hosts her tv show, “The Wendy Williams Show,” after 14 seasons. “I’ve realized that I have so much time now and that with this podcast I can talk to you guys (the fans) on a personal level.
As the show went on, fans were given the opportunity to ask questions in which most of the fans gave Wendy Williams flowers and applauded her for being an inspiration to so many.
