The world continues to mourn the tragic loss of Chadwick Boseman.
It was reported that the actor passed away at 43 after losing his battle to stage 4 colon cancer. After the news broke, millions of fans on social media were heartbroken, as well as his close friends like Michael B. Jordan.
Another close friend of Chadwicks and his costar, Lupita Nyong’o, penned a sweet message. These are her first words publicly since the tragic news. In her opening words, she said how hard it was for her to write about her dear friend in the past tense. She also said that Chadwick was someone who made the most of his time. Even tho she didn’t know him for a long period of time, she said he had a “profound effect” on her. She also said he set the bar high and “it seems that it was life that gave up on Chadwick long before Chadwick gave up on life.” In the caption, she wrote,
