After not finding winners and raising the jackpot to one billion dollars, a winning ticket for the Powerball was drawn.

The ticket, which matches all five numbers, was purchased at a mini-market in Los Angeles. The winner is joined by seven other Californians who won with five out of six matching numbers. Those players will each receive $448,750, according to officials.

The winning numbers drawn were: 7, 10, 11, 13, and 24, and red Powerball 24. The Power Play multiplier was 2X.

This jackpot was the third-largest Powerball jackpot in history. Ahead of the drawing, Powerball officials estimated the jackpot at $1 billion with a cash value of $516.8 million. The jackpot ended up growing to $1.08 billion, officials said. This not only makes it the third-largest in Powerball history, but is also the sixth-largest lottery prize in U.S. history.

For those who did not win, all hope is not lost. Players can also have a chance at the record-setting Mega Millions.  The jackpot is currently estimated at $720 million. It ranks as one of the largest in Mega Millions history. The next drawing for that game is Friday at 8 p.m. PT.
