This is truly crazy. A Brooklyn woman, 70, was shot while standing on a street corner.
According to the police, the shooting took place around 2 pm on Monday afternoon at the corner of Brooklyn Ave and Fulton Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Chi Ossè, New York City Council Member gave an update about the victim via Twitter saying that the woman was not the intended target and that she was rushed to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
He went on to say, “The people of this community are constantly traumatized by this unnecessary violence. Our prayers are with this senior and her recovery.”

No other details have been released about the incident and no arrests have been made.
