A Black Family To Sue Sesame Place For $25 Million For Racial Discrimination

A Black family has filed a $25 Million lawsuit against Sesame Place for racial discrimination agaisnt their 5-year-old daughter.

According to reports, the lawsuit states that the characters; Elmo, Ernie, Telly Monster, and Abby Cadabby, refused to have any interaction with the 5-year-old and a few other Black children.

The family reportedly wants a jury trial so that they can hear and see evidence of the incidents that have occurred and make a decision for themselves.

This news comes weeks after we reported about the viral video of the two little Black girls being blatantly ignored by the character Rosita and how singer Kelly Rowland called the water theme park out for the character’s behavior.

Sesame Place would later send out an apology about the incident and claim that the character didn’t mean to snub the girls, as she was trying to let the visitors behind them that she couldn’t hold their child for a picture.

However, many other families released their own videos of the characters doing the same thing to their children or other Black children on the days that they attended Sesame Place.
