Warner Bros officially cut ties with Extra host A.J. Calloway following multiple sexual claims of sexual assault. A statement was released on the behalf of the Warner Bros.:

“The company has investigated the claims made into Mr. Calloway’s conduct and the company has mutually agreed to part ways.”

Calloway was suspended with pay earlier this year pending investigation. At the time the company began internal review “to determine whether there had been any misconduct by Mr. Calloway on Extra and whether any employee of the show had been the victim of any such misconduct.”

Warner Bros:

“To date, we have found nothing to suggest that Mr. Calloway has ever engaged in workplace misconduct. In light of additional allegations brought to our attention, we are expanding our ongoing inquiries, and Mr. Calloway has been suspended pending further review. We take such allegations very seriously and are committed to doing everything we can to ensure a safe and inclusive workplace for all of our employees.”

In 2018, domestic violence activist and author Sil Lai Abrams accused the former 106 & Park host of sexually assaulting her 2006. The charges were dropped on “procedural grounds.” Two more women came forward claiming sexual assault as well. One of the women, identified as Talia says:

“I never wanted to tell anyone because I didn’t think people would believe me because he was a celebrity and I was just a regular girl,” she said. “I thought that it’s just one of those situations that happen and you just have to move forward with your life. When I saw it and I read what happened to Miss Abrams, I knew right then and there she wasn’t lying. I was 150 percent sure that she wasn’t lying because what she described was almost identical to what happened to me.”

In total six women accused Calloway of sexual misconduct.
