A New Coolio Album To Be Posthumously Released

Fans will be getting a new Coolio album that is set to be posthumously released later this year. 

The album, “Long Live Coolio”, was being worked on days before the rapper passed away. According to reports, the first single off of the album, “Tag ‘You It,’” featuring Too $hort and DJ Wino was released on Friday, March 17th. 

The video for the single is reportedly the last piece of visual content of the late rapper. We reported that Coolio was found unresponsive and later died of cardiac arrest on September 28th, 2022 at age 59. 

In 1995, the rapper won a Grammy for best solo rap performance for his song “Gangsta’s Paradise” from the “Dangerous Minds” soundtrack. Throughout his career, he sold a total of 4.8 million albums and was nominated for six more Grammys.
