Andrea Kelly Responds to Critics after Video Surfaces of her Singing along to R. Kelly [VIDEO]

It has been a long weekend of Surviving R. Kelly on Lifetime and viewers had a lot to say about the six-part docuseries along with R.Kelly’s ex-wife Andrea.

Andrea has been very vocal about the physical and mental abuse she endured while in a relationship with the famous R&B singer prior to the Lifetime docuseries, however, has caught a lot of heat since an old video surfaced of her singing along to R. Kelly’s hit single “Happy People.”

In an Instagram post, Andrea Kelly addressed the video while thanking God for being able to celebrate the woman she is today.

 I AM No longer afraid. No longer willing to silence my PAIN AND SUGARCOAT THE ABUSE I ENDURED because of how my abuser and his LEGAL TEAM were THREATENING to come against me if I “didn’t choose wisely.” NO MORE! Don’t speak about MY GROWTH OR JOURNEY especially if you have NEVER BEEN ABUSED. – Andrea Kelly
