Ari Lennox’s manager gives an update after the singer was arrested in Amsterdam.
During a series of tweets, Ari speaks out about an alleged racial profile incident that led to her arrest. “F*ck Amsterdam security. They hate black people,” Lennox tweeted. “They’re arresting me. I’m being arrested in Amsterdam for reacting to a woman racially profiling me.”

Reported on Reuters, Dutch military police at Schiphol airport says Ari was arrested because she was drunk in public, and allegedly being “aggressive” towards an airline official. “Our unit found a woman full of emotions, that wouldn’t calm down,” spokesman Robert van Kapel shared. “That’s why she had to be taken into custody.”
Ari’s manager Justin LaMotte says Ari is safe, and appreciate’s everyones support for checking on her.
