Pop star Ariana Grande will join Jennifer Hudson, Chaka Khan, Faith Hill, Yolanda Adams, Marvin Sapp, Shirley Caesar, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Stevie Wonder for a special tribute at the Queen of Soul’s upcoming funeral.
According to a spokeswoman for the Franklin’s family, “Aretha Franklin was fond of her.” Also adding that they loved the Grande’s rendition of “You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman)” on the “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Falllon.”
During Grande’s interview on Falllon, she recalls her most memorable moments with the legendary singer:
“I met her a few times. We sang at the White House, and she was so sweet, and she was so cute. I was like, ‘How are you a real person?’ It’s an honor to have met her, and we’re gonna celebrate her.”
