We are sending love and light to the family of Jovita Moore.
As reported on sources, the Georgia news anchor passed away. Her station, WSBTV, confirmed the sad news. It happened last night (October 28). She, unfortunately, lost her battle with brain cancer.
Back in April, doctors found two masses on her brain. She was diagnosed with glioblastoma. The news saddens social media. Take a look:
Very sad to hear of the passing of Jovita Moore.
She was a friend of AAJA Atlanta and of all journalists.
This is her at the 2018 AAJA Atlanta student workshop.
You see that line? She took the time to talk to each student.
