Beyoncé and Jay-Z were wrapping the first night of their OTR II tour stop in Atlanta Saturday night (Aug. 25) when an inebriated fan rushed the stage and ran after America’s royal couple. The fan, who’s been identified as 26-year-old Anthony Charles Thomas Maxwell, was cited for disorderly conduct and free to go.
Bey and J already rock with a tight security team, so instead of hiring a new protective detail B’s decided to take matters into her own hands.
As ATL’s second OTR II show came to an end Sunday night (Aug. 26), King Bey and her hubby held hands as they walked off the stage. Before they were completely out of sight, Beyoncé turned around to make sure no one was behind her, and showed of her best karate chops in case someone was there – and she did it while laughing with a big smile on her face.
Moral of the story, don’t mess with the Carters, or mama bear will knock you out!
