Bill Cosby Defends R. Kelly & Says The Singer Was ‘Railroaded’ In Guilty Verdict

Of all people, Bill Cosby is speaking out on Robert Kelly’s guilty verdict for sex trafficking during his New York trial.

As reported on Madame Noire, Cosby’s spokesperson, Andrew Wyatt, shared statements with TMZ from the comedian. Wyatt said Cosby said,“Look, the guy was railroaded.” He continued, “As he said, Gloria Allred did the same thing.. as she did with him. You parade women out, and you stir up the public sentiment to go against him…and that’s what they did to R.Kelly.”

Allred represented female victims in Kelly and Cosby’s cases. Wyatt went on to say, “What we see in America today, you know with R.Kelly, is an assault on Black men. This is an assault on successful Black men who are doing great things.”
