Bill Cosby Plans On Pleading The Fifth On Assault Allegations In Fear Of Getting Prosecuted Again

Bill Cosby is doing his best to stay out the way and enjoy his freedom!

As reported on The Jasmine Brand, the comedian doesn’t plan on speaking about an allegation of an assault made against him. The article says Cosby plans on pleading the fifth.

Cosby was released from prison earlier this summer after Pennsylvania’s highest court overturned his sex assault conviction. The reason was due to “finding an agreement with a previous prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case. Cosby served 2 of the 10-year sentence at a state prison near Philadelphia.

He’s trying to avoid getting prosecuted again over the assault allegation. TJB reports Judy Huth made claims Cosby assaulted her when she was 15. The alleged incident happened in 1974 at the Playboy Mansion.

Huth filed a civil lawsuit against Cosby in 2014, and even though he sat down for a deposition back then, he declined to answer questions. Ultimately the case was pushed down as Cosby was fighting his criminal case against Andrea Constand, which eventually led to his conviction.

By law, Cosby can testify but his lawyer Michael Freedman said his client has no plans to. Freedman told the judge Cosby is pleading the fifth.
