The Mother of Black Hollywood Jenifer Lewis stepped onto the Emmys red carpet last night (Sept. 17) to show off her new, custom-made black and red bedazzled crew neck sweatshirt, black leggings, and dope footwear to match – all compliments of Nike – in support of their new poster boy, Colin Kaepernick.
Lewis, who’s known for her role as Ruby on Black-ish, told CNN, “I am wearing Nike tonight to tell them how proud I am of them for supporting Colin Kaepernick and his protests against police brutality and racial injustice.”
