Carmelo Anthony’s alleged baby mother, Mia Burks, is speaking out on her daughter’s relationship with the NBA player. Mia and Carmelo had an affair a little over a year ago and he reportedly fathered a child outside of his marriage with wife LaLa Anthony.
Following the news, Carmelo and his wife separated. Although many believe the baby looks just like him, Carmelo never denied or confirmed the allegations.
On social media, a user took to Mia’s Instagram page to ask whether or not Carmelo was active in her daughter’s life.
@chelsyfrazier: “Is her dad in her life? Because how in the hell could a “man” have a child who looks exactly like him but he chooses to neglect the child?”
Mia responded,
“No, maybe in the future.”
Another user wrote:
“I’ve lost all respect for him and the wife regardless of what happened during their marriage. She should push him to have a relationship with his DAUGHTER.”
Mia replied:
“Thank y’all for sending love and positive vibes, but in all honestly, my daughter is good-with or without a father she’s going to BE GREAT. I responded to a comment to clear what I am asked on the daily. I promise we gets too rest at night.no worries on this end.”
