This can’t be good!
According to The Jasmine Brand, Chaka Khan’s ex-manager Olasumbo Kuti, is suing the singer for $236k.
She claims she’s owed for unpaid services like business and personal management. She worked with the “Sweet Thang” singer from 2013 until 2017 when she was fired.
Kuti also says she owns five percent of Chaka Khan’s threes business. She’s asking the courts for partial ownership in addition to the lawsuit money.
