The 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced this year’s inductees and Chaka Khan is finally on that list.

It has been reported that the Queen of Funk will be inducted as well as receive the Musical Excellence Award. Along with Khan, the legendary group, The Spinners will also be inducted. They are best known for their hits “I’ll Be Around,” “Mighty Love,” “Could Be I’m Falling in Love,” “Sadie,” “The Rubberband Man” and more.

As reported, Willie Nelson, Missy Elliott, Sheryl Crow, and the late George Michael will also be inducted. George Michael’s induction comes seven years after his untimely death. He will join the Hall of Fame posthumously just like Tupac, Nina Simone, Whitney Houston, and the Notorious B.I.G.

Unfortunately, A Tribe Called Quest was not accepted into this year’s Hall of Fame, although they were considered to be. The 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will take place at the Barclays Center on November 3rd.
