The wait is finally over. R&B sensation and Beyoncé prodigy, Chloe Bailey, has officially announced her debut album and fans cannot wait.

The singer took to social media to announce the news with a sensual 17-second clip of her in a gorgeous red latex gown. She captioned the post “N PIECES. MY DEBUT ALBUM. MARCH 2023. “

Chloe Bailey, who also performs under the stage name Chlöe, got her start in music with her sister, Halle Bailey. The two had a successful run as Chloe x Halle. They released two albums, The Kids Are Alright in 2018 and Ungodly Hour in 2020. Both projects received a Grammy Award nomination. The album single Do It also earned a nomination for Best R&B Song while Wonder What She Thinks of Me was nominated for Best Traditional R&B Performance. Since 2020, the two have embarked on their own solo projects. Halle is gearing up to be on the big screen as Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. The two have said that they are still working on their next joint album.

Halle commented under the announcement post in support. “wooooo!!!!!!” she wrote.

During the past two years, Chloë’s debut album has been highly anticipated as she has released several singles. Some songs include Have Mercy, Treat Me, Suprise, and For the Night featuring Latto.

In true Beyoncé-esque fashion, Chloë has also scrubbed her entire Instagram feed aside from the announcement post. Typically when an artist does this, it’s a sign that a new era is coming for them. In an interview with Complex earlier this month, she shared how personal this upcoming project will be for her. “Every single song on that project stems from my own experiences. “Have Mercy” stemmed from my being sad. I was responding to haters. That is where that song came from. The single “Treat Me” came from reminding myself that if there is something I want out of a man, I have to give it to myself first.”
