Chris Paul’s Family Harassed By Spectators During Playoff Game

Chris Paul speaks out about his mother, wife, and family being harassed by spectators during his playoff game on Sunday.

Paul’s team, The Phoenix Suns was playing against the Dallas Mavericks when the incident took place. Paul took to his Twitter account to address the issue.

“Wanna fine players for saying stuff to the fans but the fans can put they hands on our families… f**k that!!”, he wrote.

According to reports, Paul’s mother Robin, his wife Jada, and their two children were watching the game from their seats behind the Suns’ bench when Paul’s mother said she had hands put on her. His wife stated that she was pushed and also followed up the aisle when she left her seat.

The Mavericks as well as security quickly had the spectators removed from the arena. “It was unacceptable behavior and will not be tolerated. The Mavericks, along with American Airlines Center, swiftly removed the fan from today’s game,” they said in a statement.

Chris Paul also spoke with security about the safety of his family and what they endured during the game.
