Colin Kaepernick breaks his silence, following the tragic passing of George Floyd.
George Floyd, an unarmed Black man, was killed due to police brutality. A video surfaced online showing a “Minneapolis police officer keeping his knee on the neck of a motionless, moaning man at the foot of a squad car.”
Kaepernick took to Instagram to spread awareness, he writes, “When civility leads to death, revolting is the only logic answer. The cries for peace will rain down, and when they do, they will land on deaf ears because your violence has brought this resistance. We have the right to fight back! Rest in power George Floyd.”
