Colman Domingo is still reeling in the reviews from his most recent performance as Mister in the new Color Purple film, but now another studio may be looking to work with him. Domingo is potentially being considered to replace Jonathan Majors in the MCU.

Movie insider Daniel Richtman posted an update on Twitter that Marvel is interested in onbairding Domingo.

“Still early days but I hear Colman Domingo is one option that was brought up to replace Jonathan Majors as Kang,” he reported.

Aside from his role in The Color Purple, he is also known for his role in HBO’s Euphoria and his 67 episode run on Fear The Walking Dead. He was also more recently in Netflix’s Rustin.

Majors, who was originally slated to play Kang, the MCU’s next big villain, was recently found guilty of reckless assault in the third degree and harassment for attacking his ex-girlfriend. Marvel Studios immediately dropped Majors and shifted the focus of their upcoming film phase.
