New York is PROUD!
Congratulations to 25 year old Nia Franklin (Miss New York) who was crowned as Miss America 2019!
Nia Franklin graduated from the University of North Carolina, where she studied the Arts.
Although she is originally from Winston-Salem North Carolina, she currently resides in Brooklyn, and represents the city of New York
Keep in mind this is New York’s fourth win in six years.
Franklin was granted a $50K scholarship for her win!
