Cynthia Bailey is finally speaking on what really led to her decision to file for divorce from husband Mike Hill.

While making a guest appearance on the Two T’s in a Podcast, the former RHOA castmate felt like she was losing her friend. “I felt like we weren’t friends anymore,” she said. “It felt like it was just going toward we’re just not going to be friends if we didn’t pump the brakes.”

We reported that Bailey talked about how she was coping with the divorce where she said that she has some good days and some bad days, but said that their friendship was the most important part.

“This is not my first rodeo. I think friendship just has to be there in a marriage,” she said. “Like, love is great, but friendship has to be there. I truly want to be with my best friend.” She added, “I don’t think either one of us regrets our decision to move forward in the way we have decided to move forward.”

It has been stated that Bailey and Hill are on good terms but have had some issues in the past with this divorce. “It’s not final yet. We’re still going through the process, so we’re still technically married. For me, there’s still a lot of respect and stuff on my end that I still feel like he’s my husband.”

We are wishing both Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill all of the best.
