This is so sad.
A 45-year-old man, who police have identified as Gary Martin, opened fire at Henry Pratt Co. in Chicago, and killed 6 people, and wounded 5, according to NYDN. Martin worked there for 15 years and was going to be fired on the day the shooting occurred, (Feb. 15).
One of the employees who survived by escaping through a back door said he saw Martin running with a pistol with a laser on it and was “firing indiscriminately.”
The tragic incident lasted about a litter over an hour and a half. Police found Martin hiding in the building and shot him according to the report. His mother told the news, “My heart goes out to all the victims.”
