It is no secret that Donald Trump has condenmed the ‘Exonerated 5’ before and after the group of men were released from prison, and proven innocent.
At a recent press conference, Trump was asked by reporter April Ryan whether or not he would apolgize to the five men for taking out ads in several news outlets pushing for them to receive the death penalty.
Trump’s response was: “You have people on both sides of that. They admitted their guilt…”If you look at Linda Fairstein and if you look at some of the prosecutors, they think that the city should never have settled that case. So we’ll leave it at that.”
