A drone was spotted flying over a Pennsylvania prison yard as Bill Cosby was going for a walk.
The imprisoned sex offender was strolling on the grounds of the SCI Phoenix Jail Facility in
Collegeville, Pennsylvania, last week when a random flying object was seen hovering
above, according to USA Today.
Cosby’s longtime spokesman for the duration of his trial, Andrew Wyatt assumed that the
object was a “media drone”. It could have been perhaps an attempt to snap a picture of the
convicted comedy legend.
At the moment, The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections said it has installed drone
protection to vamp up the detection systems as part of a needs to eliminate any activity that
would cause a bigger distraction.
“Flying drones over prisons in Pennsylvania is against the law and the agency will work with law
enforcement to prosecute perpetrators to the fullest extent of the law,”.
Cosby entered prison in September. He was sentenced to three to 10 years for the 2004
drugging and sexual assault of Andrea Constand.
