The moment is finally happening, SWV has a biopic in the works!
It has been reported that the Grammy-nominated R&B trio is in talks with the Lifetime network to have their film produced about the rise to fame as a trio.
Sources close to the group simply stated that they are “working on the script.” In 2019, the group’s lead singer, Coko teased that there was a possibility of a biopic coming after she posted a photo with singer/songwriter Sevyn Streeter on Instagram.
“Me and my baby @sevyn. She has to play me in the SWV biopic! She looks so much like me. #SWV #Sevyn.”
Fellow group member Taj also posted a photo of the group and Sevyn with the caption that read, “Guess who’s playing Coko in the SWV Biopic?”
