Do y’all remember the sitcom The Facts of Life starring Kim Fields as everyone’s favorite Tootie? Well, it is getting a reboot with Gabrielle Union playing the role that Fields once acquired.
ABC announced that the show will be returning for a live episode. Joining Union will be Jennifer Aniston who will play Blair Warner, Kathryn Hahn as Jo Polniaczek, and Allison Tolman as Natalie Green.
Gabrielle Union took to her Instagram story to share excitement about her latest project. “Tootie was EVERYTHING to Black girls in my generation @kimfieldsofficial is an ICON living. I am honored to honor her and just one of the many legendary characters she has brought to life.”
The original show ran from 1979 to 1988, where Kim landed the role when she was 10 years old.
