Grammy-Winning Singer/Producer LaShawn Daniels Dead at 41

New Jersey songwriter/producer LaShawn Daniels has reportedly passed away at the age of 41-years-old.

As of right now, cause of death has yet to be confirmed. There are reports that he was involved in a car accident. The Grammy-award winning producer leaves behind his wife of 13 years April Daniels and their three sons, Tahshon, Omarr and Jett.

Daniel is best known for his collaborations with music producer Darkchild. His list of songwriting credits includes pop and R&B classics including Brandy and Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine”, “Lose My Breath” by Destiny’s Child, “Telephone” by Lady Gaga and Beyoncé, “If You Had My Love” by Jennifer Lopez and “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay” by Whitney Houston.
