Rest in Peace to R&B Singer, James Ingram.
The soulful singer whose voice dominated the charts throughout the 80s and 90s, died at the age of 66. According to TMX, he suffered from brain cancer.
Debbie Allen took to social media to share a heartfelt message about her dear friend.
“I have lost my dearest friend and creative partner James Ingram to the Celestial Choir. He will always be cherished, loved and remembered for his genius, his love of family and his humanity. I am blessed to have been so close. We will forever speak his name.”
Ingram is known for his singles ‘Baby, Come to Me’ and ‘I Don’t Have the Heart.’ He’s also collaborated with Anita Baker, Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson just to name a few.
