WBLS and the Harlem Chamber of Commerce took over General Grant Nation Memorial, best known to most as Grant’s Tomb, yesterday afternoon (July 29), and it was one of the biggest turnouts we’ve ever seen.
The day-long event kicked off with some of your favorite radio personalities like Déjà Vu, Liz Black, Jeff Foxx, and LaDawn Black rocking the airwaves during our live broadcast alongside our sister station, 1190 WLIB. The on-air crew with the World’s Best Looking Sound played games and interacted with listeners as NYC residents from all five boroughs came out for good music, good food, and a genuine good time.
